SPSCOM

SPSCOM together with Fugawi Tracker mapping software provides a cost-effective mapping solution.  SPSCOM, a communication package developed by Scan Project Solutions ApS for the Fugawi Tracker mapping software, operates on a central computer, communicates with the GSMGPS unit in the vehicle, and interfaces with the Fugawi Tracker mapping software. 

If a customer is considering a reasonably priced tracking solution plus good map coverage, the SPSCOM and Fugawi combination is the smart solution.  If a customer wants to protect his vehicles by implementing some of the alarm functions in GSMGPS, SPSCOM should be combined with the optional SPSMON, an extra channel extension of SPSCOM exclusively for alarm monitoring.  By combining SPSCOM and SPSMON the communication uses two channels on the PC.  SPSCOM does not utilize the communication port used by SPSMON.  This means that there is always a communication channel open to receive alarms that are sent as an SMS from the vehicle.  When an alarm is received, the computer notifies the operator and the operator must acknowledge that the alarm has been received.  At the same time, the Fugawi Tracker will be updated with the currently received position.
