Applications using Falcom GSM modems
Besides being a distributor for Falcom GSM modems, SPS can offer several applications for Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL), vehicle, security,  mapping,  in-car navigation, and SMS alarms. Some of the applications have been developed by a third party.

GSMGPS GSMGPS consists of the equipment that is installed in a vehicle, which is used for AVL or for tracking applications using GSM data and/or SMS services. When GSMGPS is combined with SPSCOM and one of the mapping applications, the user has a very powerful, yet affordable system for AVL or a tracking application. GSMGPS is the perfect application, if the customer has a need to know where the vehicle is or wants to protect his driver.
Falcom ProGSM is the "missing link" for the VDO Dayton in-car navigation system. With the Falcom ProGSM system installed in a vehicle, the VDO Dayton becomes a communication center in parallel with the normal navigation system. Falcom ProGSM allows the sending and receiving of SMS on the GSM net. Messages asking the VDO Dayton for the current position, asking the VDO Dayton for the current destination, will be answered in return messages in plain text with the city and street name.  Messages sending a new destination to the VDO Dayton will start the system to navigate to the new destination.  The Fugawi mapping software can be used to display the position on the computer in the office.
GSMALARM GSMALARM is a simple alarm system for users who do not have access to the normal telephone system. The alarms are sent as an SMS message.  Four alarm sensors can be connected to the system.  One of the alarm sensors can be configured as a relay, where the user can turn the relay on or off with a simple SMS message .
SPSCOM SPSCOM is the communication program which enables communication with  the GSMGPS and the Falcom ProGSM equipment in the vehicle. With the optional SPSMON, multiple communication ports can be used in parallel for added security.  In an alarm center, alarms are received on one communication channel, while the other channel is used to request the position of the vehicle.
