The Falcom MAMBO

Based on the GSM/GPRS and state-of-art GPS technology for satellite navigation, FALCOM introduces a new portable tracking device for personal safety and asset monitoring. The FALCOM MAMBO is a Tri Band GSM/GPRS engine that works on the three frequencies GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz. The integrated GPS receiver architecture based on the SiRF starIII chipset provides more then enough precise location information using satellite signals to enable to track people where they are anywhere in the world.
With its integral housing, compact design and ultra-low power consumption, it is an outstanding quality, high-performance, operating as a stand alone unit ideally suited for personal security, asset management and automotive applications as well. The configurable internal firmware is a fundamental component which in combination with the excellent hardware performance makes the FALCOM MAMBO unit to be on the top of applications where the fleet management and personal security today are required

The FALCOM MAMBO consists of the GSM/GPRS engine, 20 channel GPS receiver, Bluetooth™ class 2 for voice and data connection and a motion detector as an all-in-one solution.
The FALCOM MAMBO provides geofence features that can be used for territory management, route verification, prohibited locations, and more. Once a geofence is established, the unit automatically notifies via SMS, Voice or Data calls, if the person carring it enters and/or leaves the predefined area(s).

In the event of an emergency, the person who carries the FALCOM MAMBO can activate it by pressing a touch button on the unit’s surface. Upon activation the equipment uses the GPS signals to define its positions, and sends a SMS message with its location information or performs a voice call to the predefined number via the GSM network. The FALCOM MAMBO based on the TCP/IP protocol is also able to be monitored as real time over the internet or to send an e-mail to the predefined e-mail address.

The FALCOM STEPP II

is a Plug & Play GSM/GPRS/GPS terminal with an embedded configurable software application. The device concept is targeting for direct implementation as a mobile client in a wide range of high volume, low-cost, flexible system solutions like AVL, fleet management, vehicle security and recovery and other related area. The tracking functionality of the embedded mobile client application is combined with variety of alert messaging capabilities. The configurable alert messages contain current position and status report and use 4 digital and 2 analogue inputs as hardware backbone. In addition two predefined digital inputs are detecting ignition line and main power (car battery) failure.

Depending on the specific system solution scenario four digital outputs allow the remote control of external actuators. The integrated two audio channels allow voice communication too. The STEPP II concept reduces the efforts for the creation of a turn key tracking and security solution to the definition of the server (dispatcher) application. The FALCOM SAMBA

is a plug'n'play device in extremely small size, which provides a powerful state-of the art technology and makes it almost perfect for a quick and easy way to plug in GSM or GPRS functionality into your systems. The embedded USB interface allows direct connections to a USB serial port of desktop or notebook computers.

The SAMBA can send and receive data by GSM and GPRS. It features GPRS multislot class 10 and supports the GPRS coding schemes CS-1, CS-2, CS-3 and CS-4. It supports voice, SMS, FAX as well as offers a choice of seven ring tones/melodies. The FALCOM TANGO

is a Plug & Play Dual Band GSM/GPRS device for direct and easy connection to any terminal equipment that is able to handle AT-commands for modem control. The FALCOM NAVI-XT

is a new GPS receiver equipped with Bluetooth technology. It is an execellent navigational and positioning tool in connection with GPS mapping software installed on Bluetooth enabled devices (PC, laptop, PDA). The FALCOM NAVI-XT is an equipment that can be used in a variety of applications including: * Navigation and positioning * Finding streets and routes * Travel planning * Safety and security * Fleet tracking and management... The NAVI-XT has an integrated temperature compensated crystal oscillators (TCXO). Due to the higher stability of frequency it offers a high improved performance and makes it possible to run the SiRFXTrac software. at far lower signal levels than it is currently possible with competitive autonomous GPS solutions. MOPAS (MObile Personal Alarm System) MOPAS is developed for personal security using the Small Message Services (SMS) on the GSM network. MOPAS is designed for the user to request immediately help by pushing a button. With the help request a position based on the GPS satellite system is included in the message. When the alarm is received on a central PC the position can be shown on a detailed map. For added security it is always possible for the central PC to request a position. SecuTrack (Vehicle tracking) SecuTrack is an combined GSM/GPS unit intended to be used in vehicles where no power is available. SecuTrack has a build in battery with a lifetime of 2 years or more. The battery lifetime is based on sending one single SMS every day with position and status of the battery. SecuTrack can also be connected to an external power source.  If an external power source is used then it can operate as a full feature tracking system without sleep mode. SecuTrack has a build in motion detection which will activate the complete unit if the vehicle starts to move. An alarm as a SMS is send with the position. SecuTrack has two additional Digital input and two relays outputs. The whole unit including GPS antenna and GSM antenna is build into a IP65 standard watertight and dust proof plastic box. Size of the SecuTrack is 18x18x7.5 cm. Weight is 2 Kg including a 17 AH battery pack.
